Hello all, I have a stock 1987 wrangler which i bought a couple weeks ago, I've been told it has the ba/10 trans. My problem is one of the bolts on the very bottom of the bellhousing that goes directly into the transmission is missing obviously leaking fluid. My question is does anyone know what size this bolt is? I've tried several other forums all with no response. Maybe someone that has already upgraded the trans has some input.

is it a drain plug? like its on hte pan, or is it a bolt holding the pan to the transmission?

just looked in manual do you have any trouble with 5th gear it looks like it holds in spring and ball for 5th gear. if you buy a good repair manual it helps alot I've got some every jeep I've owned (only a couple of manuals for so many years.

It connects the bellhousing to the trans. It screws directly into the trans housing,( it is on the very bottom of the bellhousing), while the ones on either side of it have nuts on them.
