'03 TJ Heater/AC Fan Switch/resistor

So, my Heater/AC fan only works on high, not the other three speeds. From what Ive read and heard I need a resistor, not a new switch, If the three low speeds worked it would be the other way around. Any thoughts for me? :-| Thanks.

Actually most say try the resistor first because it is the cheapest. The heater/ A/C fan switch is most likely your problem. It is a known problem, that Jeep fixed in 06. Try the resistor, and hope it is it. Lost low and mid high...it was the switch.

It's the resistor. Pull it, inspect it and ohm it out. You should not see any burn marks or corrosion or peeling coating on the resistor.
