Auto to Manual Transmission?

95 YJ 2.5L Automatic transmission has been rebuilt twice and I still have problems with it shifting.. Warrenty from AAMCO runs out in 1 more month. Will probably have to get another one. Can I change it out for a manual? Should have bought one in the first place, but.......Need some advice.[addsig]

the general concensus reached whenever the auto-manual conversion is brought up is that you should just sell your auto transmission'd jeep and buy a manual jeep. if i were you, i'd go out and INTENTIONALLY KILL your current auto transmission before the warrenty expires, and get a new transmission put in it. this will make your jeep worth more $$$ when you go to sell it.

just for future reference, you need the following to swap auto to manual
-transmission
-clutch & pedal and all related tubing and resivours (sp?), plus consider what is involved in routing a NEW PEDAL into your jeep... BIG PROJECT!!! plus brake pedals are different sizes (auto transmission'd cars' brake pedals are WIDER...)
-flywheel
-adapter??? [addsig]
