Replaced alternator with correct one. Previous owner had made a gm alternator work. And come to find out had cut exciter wire. Had to require that too. Man gotta love previous owners and botched wiring

Checking under the jeep after offroading last weekend. Discovered grease leaking at the tie rod and drag link. Tell me there is a quick fix for this.

Do a dry steer test to see there is no play th ethe TRE ... Inspect the boots for rips and tears. Replace the boot if you find any. Regrease and enjoy.

Has it been serviced lately? If it was over greased, The grease will seep out from under the boots.

The one in your second photo connecting to the pitman arm looks like it may have some play in it. It looks like its at a pretty good angle. it may just look that way in the photo.

I don't know if I'd trust a guy who drinks Coors. I'd hold out till you can find someone that drinks Guinness, or at least Newcastle.

You don't need a whole day to do that (i mean check steering components). Plus the parts in question could be checked with the tires on the ground. Start the vehicle, out of gear or in park /w emergency brake on have someone turn the wheel from stop to stop , while you look for slop in the TREs and ball joints. Also, check your track bar bushing and frame side.

I wanted to try and preserve my new frsme rails as much as possible so I bought some 1 3/8" round hole covers for the holes on the outside of the frame to keep the dirt and water out.

Had qtec price match jeeptopdepot's shipped price....

And painted the frame, axles and anything that over spray got to including my face...
