What did you do to your Jeep today?

And also scored on Craig's list. Got a set of rubi rock rails, rough country winch bumper, and a towing hitch for the JK. All for $150!

Went riding around in the snow this morning before having to shovel the drive

Put the front bumper on her JK. Not sure why I'm modding her jeep before mine?

Crossed a milestone

Replaced the factory battery. Yep only made it 8+ years before giving up the ghost to the cold weather today. It struggled yesterday and against my better judgement I didn't bring it in the house last night and charge it.

Wow! Mine lasted 5.

Wow! Mine lasted 5.

That's what happens when you take care of things. Ya know. It likely would have lasted longer if I didn't have a few mishaps earlier in the year. With the doors off I pulled the cabin light fuse. This is the same fuse fir the headlight chime. Drained the battery at least 2x this summer.

The best was me 95 F150 lasting 11+ years. The reason that one failed was sitting too long when I got the jeep.

Little battery maintenance goes a long way.

Replaced my rusted, hole ridden dash with a nice new stainless dash.

Yesterday, I'd parked by '05 TJ behind my truck and off to the side. Thought all was clear. Later, in a rush to go somewhere, jumped in truck, backed up and right rear of truck caught rear bumper of the TJ. More damage to truck than the Jeep. Bent truck's rear bumper a little (should be able to pull it straight and will need a little bondo and paint on rr qtr panel. Only broke 1 of the plastic caps on Jeep's Smittybilt tubular bumper. Dumbass mistake!:x

loaded it up on a trailer to take to a mechanic wont start and don't have code reader 02 wj

FYI - I use one of these:
Amazon.com: LYL® ELM 327 Bluetooth Obdii Obd2 Diagnostic Scanner Elm327 Wireless OBD 2 Scan Tool Check Engine Light CAR Code Reader: Automotive

with a $5 program called torque on my android phone to pull and clear codes (along with other stuff). It really works well, and at under $20 you can't beat it.

still driving mine to work everyday. it still needs an alignment and the angles set from the lift. luckily, its only 2 miles to work

Finally got my puller. CalVan Tools heavy duty hub puller, awesome puller, pulled my hub off in about 5 minutes.
