Blend door/switch

What's the deal with my blend door? After replacing my fan belt the a:c will be on Max but it will blow out the defrost vents then switch to the forward vents. Them back to defrost. Whats the deal?

Check the vacuum lines from the intake manifold to the firewall on the passenger side where the accumulator (a/c) lines go through the firewall. If no leaks are found there, check the line going to the vacuum reservoir under the battery tray.
