Engine Balance Question

I have a 89 wrangler YJ with a 4.2L engine with an automatic transmission. My engine threw a rod and trashed the block. I bought a 4.2L out of a 84 wrangler with a manual transmission. I will have to pull the flywheel from my original engine and put it on the 84 yr model engine after pulling the pressure plate which might be heaver than the flywheel. Will I need to pull the crankshaft pulley and swap it out in order to not burn up the bearing due to an imbalance. If I do will this fix the issue, or are there other issues that need to addressed also?

The harmonic balancer/vibration dampeners where all the same regardless of trans type, so no you won't need to change it.

However, down the road, keep in mind with the CJ 258 engine that you are installing, you'll need a different oil filter than the one in the 258 you had.
