Replacing the timing chain in a 06 LJ

I’m in the process of replacing the timing chain in a 2006 LJ with a 4.0.
At this point I’m having trouble getting the automatic transmission cooling lines removed from the radiator.
I’ve tried the quick disconnect tools made for fuel lines but can’t seem to get them off.
Is there a special tool or a trick to this?
Thanks so much,
Jake

Curious as to why you are changing the timing chain? And if you are awre of the ODPA issue with 05-06 TJs that result in worn cam gears and timing issues?

No I was not aware of the ODPA issue or what it means.
I was in the process of replacing a rusty oil pan and noticed a lot of play in the timing chain.
I'm just an old man that likes to play in the dirt.
