to Nutter or not to Nutter

So I just rebuilt the 4.2 in my "89 wrangler and now my question is do I Nutter it ????? I am putting the stock carb back on, it ran ok before the rebuilt (except for the can of marbles in the block) it did have some hesitation off the line and a little top end breaking up. I am leaning toward doing it. Why would I not ??

Thanks, Dave

My guess is, do not "nutter", it. What does that mean? "nutter".

Look up nutter bypass. Reconfiguration of a stock ign control that included wiring to the carburetor then the distributor. The process is rewriting to bypasses the carb. Completed correctly has great improvements in idling and higher rpm running.
