Looking for a steering stabilizer and have it narrowed down to 3 choices :
(1) rancho (2) skyjacker (3) pro comp
Mainly used as a dd highway use. (94 yj 2.5 lift & 31's )
Sorry about all the question . Any pro or con ? :shades:
Thanks for any input.

Doesn't much matter, you can run without one on a Jeep properly set up. OEM stabilzer is as good as any aftermarket. Buy cheap and spend the money elsewhere.

Those are all the cheapest you can buy but, they will work and it doesn't matter which one you get. I haven't run one for years and don't need one, Besides, I always smash them flat on rocks! lol

First of all, these do not "stabilize" anything. They are technically a "steering dampener". They dampen the tendency for the violent feedback you get when hitting a rock or other obstacle. With one, when you hit an obstacle, you won't usually get the steering wheel violently turning. This is why you don't drive with your thumbs inside of a steering wheel. I haven't ever run with one and still have two thumbs.

If you can find a real difference between them, you are one anal bugger. The paint job will be the big difference.
