I changed axles recently and found my jeep leaned to the right side after the swap . I also found that the center bolt on the leaf spring was rusted and broke would that have anything to do with why it would lean?

I don't think it would have anything to do with the lean, but you need to fix that or your axle can slide back and fourth on your spring, NOT GOOD. its just a small bolt bolting your leafs together, but you have to unbolt the springs to get to it. Someone has run your spring plate into something and sheared the bolt.

You didn't think a broken bolt was a problem ? Especially when were talking about suspension ? Wow, you need to take a better look and replace all rusted and broken bolts. I'm sure the other side couldn't be much better.
