Just bought a 2003 Wrangler X ran the VIN and it said that limited slip was an option on my rig, how can I tell if mine has it or not?

Jack up the rear end, so that both tires are off the ground (chock the front tires). With the emergency brake off, spin one of the rear tires and see which way the other tires spins. If they spin the same direction then you have limited slip, if they spin in opposite direction then you've got an open diff.
