E brake light flashes while driving and the ebrake is down. No grabbing feeling either. Any ideas

Do you use it?
Often?

Is it the e-brake or the Brake light.

Check that the switch is being met. On the TJ it could come loose or bad ground connection.

Also check your break fluid. If your fluid is low check your pads. It may be time to change them.

I don't know specifically about the jk but most vehicles will have that light flash if there is an issue anywhere in the braking system; low fluid, fluid leak or pads that are just about gone. How many miles on your jeep? My 2010 has 63k, still has the original pads on the front but I had to replace the rear pads about 10k ago.

It isn't my jeep it's a guy I work with. So idk how any miles. Thanks though guys. I think he's bringing it to a shop.

Checking pad wear or fluid level is easy and free. Even a brake job changing calipers and all is easy.
