need new carb any suggestions

I have a 1990 yj in need of a new carb. It hesitates and cold starts are awful. I was thinking weber because I hear it is a good replacement. New to carbs not sure if mine is 1bbl or 2bbl. If anyone with the weber wants to share their experience i would appreciate it. also how do I tell 1bbl or 2 bbl. thanks[addsig]

well, for starters, what kind of engine do you have in your yJ?
typically the 4 cyl's are 1bbl and the 6 cyl's are usually 2bbl

Best bet if you are not sure, take off the air filter and LOOK at how many barrels are in the carb :-D

Then again, if it turns out you happen to have a throttle body fuel injector, then disregard everything i just said... :roll: [addsig]

Go with the Weber. I put a Weber on a couple of months ago and it hasn't stalled Yet.[addsig]

i have a 6 cyl. when i remove the air cleaner i only has 1 barrell.[addsig]

it only has one opening ito the manifold anyway. like i said im new to this carb stuff. also where is the best place to get a weber kit?[addsig]

how do i tell if i have throttle body? i am 99% sure that it is a carb though.[addsig]
