So one of the projects I intend on doing to my Jeep in the near future is pulling out all the old carpet and using a roll on bed liner to coat the inside where the carpet used to be. Any suggestions on prep and best bed liner for the job?
Also. I have a few rust spots on different parts of the Jeep exterior. Thinking I may sand/grind the rust away then coat in “rust-lock”. After that I would like to put some protection panels on over that rather than painting to match. I like the look of the plastic ones but would like the durability of steel. What are your thoughts?

About 12-15 yrs ago I cleaned up the floor boards and removed the seat in my old ford 4x4, primed the bare metal and rolled on a coat of Herculiner. For the most part it's held up well. It's wore thru just a little on the driver's side. I took the left over coating and applied a thin coat to the bed which wore away in no time.
