First Jeep project ever - adding a hitch to pull a boat

Hello all,
Last night I ordered a CURT 13408 Class 3 Trailer Hitch, and I watched a couple youtube videos on how to install it. I need to buy a torque wrench...and I know that TJ's aren't famous for towing...but my boat is only an 18 foot Bayliner motor boat...and the boat ramp is about a mile away.
I will not be towing it on the highway or at high speeds. I think it should be good.
The weight of the boat is within limits (barely). Oh yeah...I need a wire harness for connecting to the boat trailer. Any advice will be appreciated.

Yes!!! There are ones that clip in. No splicing. Easy! Reach up in the drivers rear corner (behind plastic) unclip the blinker and clip the new harness between.
On 05 it might be both sides. Still easy.
