Please Help! Found an M 416 and need to know what to watch out for!
I found an M 416 Jeep trailer for sale near me for cheap. For those of you who've seen or been around 'em what should I watch out for? It's a pintle hook up and looks fairly straight from the pics. I'm seeing this tomorrow afternoon so this is kind of a rush help thing. Thanks so much for your timely input!

If you run out of gas, no matter which way you decide to push, the closest gas station will always be uphill and in the other direction. Corollary: The likelihood of running out increases when all of the nearby gas stations are closed.
The parts shop that stocks part for Skylab II will not have parts for our year/model of Jeep.
We cannot accurately judge the trajectory of a speeding critter (cat, dog, sasquatch).

There are a lot of kits for this. Some use cheaper harbor freight trailer.
I’d make sure the frame and axel could handle the weight you want to tow. Then normal inspection. Frame for rot...

Ratz! that's what I get for sleepin' in, he sold it to another guy even though I ensured my intention to purchase this the night before. Yeah, I've seen those HF ones JPN, but I like the idea of those M 461's as they're more robust at 1/4 ton and they share the CJ's bolt pattern on the hubs and they are equipped with a hand brake. I saw rows and rows of these parking at MCLB Barstow when I was in the service.
