swapping axles

i am doing a spring over axle conversion to my 91 yj. i recently came across a 1985 cj7 with a dana 300 transfer case. i was wondering if it would be possible to swap in the thirty from the cj7 into the yj. i have heard that it may not be wide enuff but that there are ways to fix that. any addvice would be great thanks[addsig]

you would also have to swap the axle, seening as the diffs are on diffrent sids[addsig]

Can't run the YJ's NP231 transfer case with the CJ D30 front axle, nor can you run the CJ's D300 transfer case with the YJ's D30 front axle. As mentioned, the CJ and the YJ's front diffs are on opposite sides.[addsig]
