Just bought some new Bosch-2 plugs and went to put them in but I can't get the wires off. I've never had this much trouble on any other vehicle. Is this normal or do I just need to have at it? Also- any tricks to getting the frontmost plug out?

Thanks,

I would go ahead and have at it and change the plug wires too. Then you can just have at it. They do not cost that much and fresh wires are very nice indeedy. tug

That's about what I figured. I've worked on tons of other engines in the past. I didn't know if the Jeep's were different to keep water out or if mine were just abnormally hard to get off. I've never seen anything like it![addsig]

Don't forget to put a gob of dilectric grease in the boot also. It will help waterproof them and make them easier to get off next time.[addsig]
