ISO Fender Flare Replacement Advice

Hi. I could really use some advice. I need to replace my driver's side body-color fender flare on my '21 Firecracker Red Unlimited after a highly recommended yahoo totally butchered the finish while repairing a scratch. ("I've been doing this for years and this has never happened before! Is there a special coating on there?!?" Yeah, right.) Before resorting to a top dollar dealer replacement, does anyone have any recommendations for other purchase options? Do I need to purchase a matching set for both sides to make sure I get the right one? This whole thing is hurting my heart. TIA.
