stock limited slip

hey my 1978 jeep cj-5 has the factory lsd and it doesn't seem to work as well as it should is there a way to adjust it or make it work better thanks

it may need to have new clutch packs installed, but first try adding some LSD (limited slip diffrential ) enhancer to the rear gear oil...

the lsd fluid is like wd 40 it doesn't let the clutch grab as well therfor prolonging wear

it is friction enhancer.... it MAKES it grab....it wont very good w/o it...

one more question my throw out bearing is making a lot of noise i have the 3 speed and i have a spare throw out bearing can i replace it through the side instead of dropping the transmission?

You could try but I had to take my transmission out ...Good Luck..

Nope, da transmission has to come off. While you have it out check out the clutcch for wear, replace if necessary. (while you have the transmission out that is!)
