I have a 97 tj. It's black with a black softop. My friend says i can armour all my soft top to make it look new again. Is armour all safe for my top? My top still looks fairly new, but I'd like it look even better. Please advise. Thanks.

From what i've gathered....your best bet is any specialty vinyl cleaner/protectant...since the top is vinyl after all.

I want to get my top (fairly new also) looking sharp as well...i still haven't decided what to purchase. the armor all is an interesting idea though

if you go that route, let us know if it worked out[addsig]

I've always used lemon pledge on the windows, and it seems to work nicely.

I have a 1968 Mustang convertible with a black top and I have found that 303 Protectant works well. It can be used on rubber, Vinyl, fiberglass, tires, plastic and leather. It claims to have 100% UV protection against slow fade with regular use. This product was recommended to me by an uplostery shop. I have been very happy with the results. It is available form 303 Products Inc., P.O. Box 966, Palo Cedro, CA 96073 or www.303-products.com. Goodluck
