87 wrangler liftgate

4 Hi engaged at Highway speeds... Opinions?

I just picked up an 87 wrangler 6 cyl froma friend for a very good price the only problem I am having is finding a liftgate for the hard top the original was damaged but the rest of the top is in good condition I was told you can no longer buy them from Chrysler can anyone point me in the right direction

Get a new top.

4wd hardware/ quadratec have them, but I think they're like $300. They make a fiberglass unit too, and that's the route I'd go since they rust out so bad.
