How bad do lift shackles make a CJ5 ride?

Thanks to all who have been helping me with my q's over the last few days, I really appreciate it. My CJ5 has a shackle lift, Rancho 9000 shocks and 33" all terrains. The thing rides like I'm galloping on a horse. Would putting stock shackles back on and putting a 4 inch Superlift kit improve my ride? I know it's "a Jeep", but man, my head hits the soft top sometimes on a big bump on the highway. Thanks a bunch.[addsig]

I have almost the same set up in my CJ-5, 4" lift , 33" tires and 1" shackles. I think it drives pretty smooth. How much air psi are you runniing? I am at about 25 psi.
