What trans do I have?

Its a 97 4.0 5-speed,
I need this transfer case shifter correction bracket, and it says it only for ax5 and nv3550 trans. hope i have one of the two.

a 97 has an AX15

Why would the bracket say 97-02 tj with ax5 or nv3550 if they dont even make it for a 97?

dunno but i was told that 4cyls came with an AX5 and 6 cyls come with an AX15 the nv3550 to my knowledge is the newer trans

hey in my quadratec catalogue it says that the AX15 was used up to 99
