Lunchbox locker - front or rear?

i would use it in the front simply because you need to be able to turn so it has to have the ablitlty to un-lock. weild or spool the back

I put a locker in my front end first since I had more work to do to the rear. My 2 piece axles gave out in my rear and I was dependant on my locked front rear to get me home. Several times on my way home I had to turn around and back through holes that I couldn't get through forwards. This convinced me that it's better to put your first locker in the rear. 8)

It is better to lock the rear first whether it be by welding or a locker. You will be amazed at what you can do with one and blown away when you add the front one.

Lock the rear first, it's where the most traction is due to weight transfer. Try backing up a slick hill in 2wd, you won't get near as far as if you went up forward.
