CJ-5 to Wrangler transmission conversion.

I was wondering if you can put a t-150 transmission into a Wrangler? Has anyone tried this? I have an 89 258 in her. I also have an OLD cj-5 and she is beyond repair. Can I swap the transmission out of the cj and put it into my wrangler? Help Please...[addsig]

It's definately not going to bolt right up to your existing transfer case... but that doesnt mean its impossible. I would talk to the folks at advanced adapters to see what you're going to need. I attached the link below.
