2006 Liberty, Blower motor only works on high

I have a 2006 Jeep Liberty and the blower motor only works on high????

Replace your blower motor resistor..It's located on the hvac housing on the passenger side behind the glove box..

Another bit of advice,, if you have the blower in your hand and there's an air compressor nearby, give it a good blast of air. Mine had alot of crap in it. If this yields a notable amount of stuff and you get it back in there run the thing on nothing other than high for a while. It'll get rid of anything that's left in there. The problem is that often we don't run the fan fast enough to get rid of dust that builds up and restricts cooling the motor. Also be sure the motor ventilation tube is tight fitting.

My Cherokee is doing something similar only mine is shrieking on anything but high and I get no air out of most of my vents even on high. How much is it to just replace the blower? I fear mine is toast. You should hear this sound!

mine did that and the dealer fixed it for free
