I am making mine out of 2" X 3" X 1/4" steel and welding each end with 6 passes to seal it. It's going to be a double tube with a grill guard and be an onboard air tank also. It will have 2.9 gallons of volume and will allow for the use of air tools on the trail.

I forgot to add I'm making bumpers--2" X 3" steel double tube to act as my on-board air tanks also, 2.9 gal volume of air with all the connections to run air tools on the trail and a winch to be installed later.
