Dana 44 bearing split and stuck in housing.

The Jeep Dealer is pressing it back on for me. Then it should seat in the axle and just tighten the flange bolts or does it need to be pressed in. Thanks for the help 808.

Dana 44 bearing split and stuck in housing.

Yes the seal leaking is what started all of this. Pine Barrens Silt did it in. Pine barrens poured out of the axle houseing when I opened the diff cover.

    98 Wrangler running hot HELP!!

Or the temperature sending unit or gauge is intermittently shorting out due to the extra heat from the summer. The radiator will normally burp into the overflow as the temperature increases and suck it back when it cools, thats why the tank is their and the cap has a pressure release. If it...

    TJ With Air Shocks

Properly placed bump stops sounds great but in actuality with heavy bumpers, offroad protection , tools, spare parts, two spare tires, a heavy winch, and a couple of passengers , contacting the bump stops has not proven to be the most comfortable ride either. I was hopeing the air shocks would...

    TJ With Air Shocks

I dont want to replace the coils. I was thinking maybe using a fox air shock without the coil over and adjusting the pressure so it would help the original coils. This would make them work similiar to a Monroe air shock but would be of much better quality.

    TJ With Air Shocks

Has anyone had any experience with air shocks on a TJ with coil springs. I use my TJ mostly for hill climbing and rock crawling where limiting up travel may be beneficial without sacrificing droop and was thinking air shocks may do the trick.

88 Jeep Yj 2.5 stalling issue

Check the fuel pressure regulator on the fuel injection rail that returns the fuel to the gas take in case of over pressure. This can be leaking and causing a decrease in pressure at the injectors.
