i have been having a bad vibration comming from the front-end of my XJ, so I went and got my tires balanced thinking this was the cause, but hey, to my suprise it wasn't the tires. I only get the vibration at speeds of over 50mph, but the faster i go, the worse it gets. Could the be the alignment, the front axle, the front driveshaft? Any ideas would be appreciated.

Probably not, yes, and yes. does it do it when you take your foot off the gas? how about putting it in neutral when it is doing it? could also be a bent rim, among other things.

Is it lifted? Stock?

Can you feel it in the steering wheel? On the floor?

Could need an alignment. I had some driveline vibes when mine was stock at highway speeds. They're gone now that I have a lift. Maybe you just need to lift it
