Since my lift was installed( do not see how that affects it) my 4 high is inop. I have a TF999 transmission mated to the factory Dana 300. 4 low is all there and works absolutely fine?????? :?:

Did you do a body lift? If not is there anyway linkage got messed up? didn't your wife throw out some of your linkage?

it seems as though the shift plate gear selector thingy inside the transfercase (if equipped) is worn or has slipped out of place maybe?

Take a close look at your linkage and I'm sure you'll find the problem. Seems like a good excuse to twin stick the 300. If I am remembering correctly the high linkage is the inside rod on the transfer case and the low linkage is the outside rod.

Did 4" suspension lift. Yeah wife toosed some carb linkage, rectified that with weber swap. I am going to bring it to work and put it on the lift to do some routine stuff, will drop skid plate and see if linkage is outa whack. Could T-Case lowering kit mess with linkage for t case? I added one with lift...
