Kentrol roll bar add on install ??

I'm putting on the kentrol sport cage extesion kit or whatever its called in my CJ5, (anyone who has worked with it will know what i mean) Anyhow, does anyone who has installed this have any tips for cutting the notches just right in the kicker bars that connect to the existing roll bar? I'm using a hole saw and it seems like i'll only have one shot at getting the notch to square up and any tips or tricks to would be great.

Harbor Freight has a pretty cheap tubing notcher, like $60. It's what I used to do mine.

I just held mine up close and marked the tubing at the angle I wanter to cut in at. It's easiest to mark the tubing at the very inner part of the fishmouth you are going to cut.

Cut long and you can clean it up with a grinder or the holesaw.

I just installed the Smittybuilt front hoop, it was the CJ7 hardtop model that came with 2 spreaders.
