Hey everyone. My questioin is that i live in omaha nebraska and my jeep is haveing gearing(spiders) problems and my jeep is extremely sluggish and in need to just rear gear it. Problem is funds are tight and I was thinking about just replacing the front and rear axles and assemblies with d44, but there isnt a salvage yard in town that has any jeeps or parts for that matter. Does anyone have any connections or maybe recomendations on where to look?

Do you have the 4.0L engine or the 2.5L? If the 4.0L, look for a pair of stock axles from a 2.5L 5spd TJ, they have 4.10 gears. This will be the cheapest and easiest upgrade to lower gearing.
