rear track bar

Do you really need a rear track bar for a 88 wrangler with a lift. The guy I bought this from hob cobbled the bracket on the axle so I was wondering if I have to fab up a new one or go without the track bar all together

leave it off, the rear axle tracks well behind the frame mounted spring hangers so there is very little if any side to side movement in the rear axle.

Loose it. I did. No problems here.

Loose it; my '94 has been without it for years, no issues. Actually, when I installed th RE lift, it was indicated to lose it there as well...
