1979 cj5 4.2 258. installed new oil pump and carburetor. started when the bolt head on carter butterfly broke off and fell into intake manifold. un be knownst to me. when I cranked the engine it made a fuss. grabbed a camera, located bolt head In number 6cylinder. fished it out and when reassembled ad try to crank the timing was 180* off. why? Never touched distributor. adjusted and just spins over no crank. IDEAS
 
I wish it were that. wires are as right as can be. triple checked. started from point a and went thru 3 times. always checked out to be correct. this was my purpose for seeking help. why would it be 180* out when never touched the distributor
