The longer shackles work by flattening out your spring therefore raising your ride height. I've seen some pretty bad bump steer and just a terrible ride in general come from shackle lifts. Its just not natural for the springs to be that flat. If you are going to do some serious wheelin, I would shy away from a shackle lift.[addsig]
