Does anyont know if there's an older crank which fits the newer 4.0 L engines and which has the ultimate result of making a "stroker" engine of the 4.0 L ? We've heard rumors but nothing definitive.
Thanx, COPCO

Use a 4.2L crank, the early crank with 12 counterweights is best. Just google 'jeep 4.0 stroker' or similar and you will find a lot.

Wow ! Between you and steelheadz, I think we can work it out. The last time I inquired was about the leaf spring - (never trust your kid before you look for yourself) - I think it was Steelheadz who set me straight on that deal. After all the hot-rods I've built, you'd think I'd look for myself before asking dumb questions. Thanks to you guys for this "stroker" information.
The kid's gonna be moving to Arizone in the fall and wants to start building a new engine to take down there with him.
