Well I have to say thank you to all who post solutions to fixing problems. I recently purchased a TJ and noticed little things that were wrong with it. It was stuck on defrost, started to idle rough and the engine would cut out/lose power above 3200 rpm. After searching many threads to learn how to fix the problems I was able to fix all of them and it only put me out $52. So again thanx to all who post.

Glad you fixed it. Was the problem a vacuum leak?

It was, but not the crack or split you might think. Whoever worked on it before me messed up. There is a one way airflow valve just before the intake manifold that was backwards. I wouldn't have known to check airflow for a vacuum If it hadn't been for reading the threads. The rough idle was fixed by cleaning the throttle body and air idle control valve. The engine cutting out was fixed with a new throttle position sensor.
