wiper problems

ok so all the wiring on my 73 cj is all messed up. well got the head lights working and brakes lights but no turn at all and no high beams but thats easy fix new stuff haha but tried to see if my windshield wipers worked and nothing. pulled the wiper cover off and motor is brand new. pulled the pad or dash board thing off and missing the main linkage from the motor to the rest of the assembly. i cant find the part anywhere for it and can only find it for 75 and newer cj's. does anyone know were i can buy the WIPER MOTOR LINK for the 73 cj. the one for the 75 and newer is 10 1/4 and i need like 8 1/2

Easy fix, buy the 10 1/4 and cut off a section in the middle to 8 1/2 then weld it together.

ok i was thinking that or buy the 10 1/4 and so i can use it to build my own but that works
