Wipers on CJ malfunction

the arms to the wipers inside the windshield frame seem to be bending themselves out everytime i run them for about 30 seconds. I bend them back, just for them to work themselves back out of wak and sieze up. Any suggestions or has anyone had this problem? Thanks

Sounds like the pivot points are corroded. Take them off and clean them or you will end up frying the motor. Put a little grease in there as well.
