YJ Indicator Lights

I'm in the process of removing my entire dash to do some painting and change the dash pad.

I have everything off but the center section over the steering column that has the indicator lights (turn, shift, check engine, 4wd). How do the two wire connectors come off the circuit board on each side?

they are conected on the bottom right and left of the dash

RE: Tire rotation....

Yea, I see how the wires connect to the plastic that holds the light bulbs, but can't figure out how to disconnect the plug from the flexable circuit board that runs up to the lights from each side.

RE: 12.5" tire on 8" rim? ** Yes or No?

For a lot of that wiring stuff, I just cut at a good spot and use bullet connectors for reconnecting. Easier to find the wires when you reconnect (if they're color coded).

RE: thanks

Thats what I did, I got a friend to look at the connector and he couldn't see how it came off. Pulling didn't do anything.

I cut the wires on the right side, with enough room left to reconnect.

If it's like mine the plug connector has a release tab that needs depressed to remove it from the cluster.
