broken transmission casing

my jeep is in the shop right now cause the timing chain slipped 180* out of time. I got that replaced and couldnt get her to spark. so we got her towed down to the auto shop and they are saying that the crank positoin sensor will cuase the coil to recieve low to no voltage resulting in no spark situation. is this the case? THX for any help here guys. and sorry it has been so long sicne I have been on last.

RE: Google Earth Locations

well for anyones future references YES if the cps (cks) sensor is shot it will send a very weak signal to the coil thus not firing.

AKASHAJEEP - Thanx for the info. Although it doesn't apply to my vehicles, I have got to say, without an ounce of doubt, that your pics are the utmost I've ever seen anywhere!!!! Wish they were miine!!! Love that NOS!! LBR
