Fuel filter

I'm tryin to find my fuel filter on my 99 jeep Cherokee when I ran across this.....What is it???

Definatley not the fuel filter. .fuel filter is in the back above the diff on the drivers side. .its kind of hidden. . Probably black. . They are fun to change!!!

That looks like a evap canister.

Fuel filter is in the tank, part of the pump, regulator, sending unit combo. That is an evap canister.

What body style is it? I guess its not the same as the grand. .cause their outside the tank
