Front piston seal replaced

:?: Front piston seal replaced is causing bearing sound. '96 Grand Cherokee 4x4 LTD. There's seems to be a disagreement as to the cause of the bearing going bad - the day after we had the seal replaced. I was told that this is a tapered loaded bearing requiring calibration specs for tightening - too much or not enough when putting the yoke on can result in the loss of preload resulting in the bearings going bad. Can anyone come up with another reason why there should be a bearing sound the day after we had this work done? There wasn't a sound before. Thank you - Viv laccfcs21@yahoo.com
