I'v got a friend that has a 92 Laredo, 4.0, 210,000 orig. miles, 110,000 on new engine.

He says when he hits 40 the back passanger "tire area shakes". Any ideas?

I'm sure you will need more infomation.

Some history he told me, he bought it used about 4 months ago, said it was in an accident, front end. He thinks the frame might be bent.

BENT RIM,HAVE HIM TAKE THE CAR IN AN ASK TO CHECK THE RIM ON A BALANCER.ORE THAN LIKEY IT IS BENT,OR IF IT IS VIBRATING IT COULD BE MOVED OR MISSING WEIGHTS.IF YOU ROTATE THE TIRES THE PROBLEM SHOULD GO TO THE FRONT BUT YOU DO NOT WANT TO DO THAT BECAUSE THE SHACKING WILL BE IN THE STERING WHEEL.IF NOT THAT THERE IS A VERY SLIGHT POSSIBILITY THAT THE END OF THE AXLE SHAFT IS BENT(I DID THAT BEFORE),LOL,HOPE THAT HELPS OUT A LITTLE

could also be sway bar bushings, stabilizer bushings, uneven tire wear, poor alignment, U-Joints, etc...
