does anyone know what the ohms range for the sending unit in the tank is for an 88 yj ?
i am going through my haynes manuel and cant find it anywhere. heck the wireing diagrams are so poor they arent worth the the paper they are written on. they sell three fuel gauges from autometer. all three have different ranges of ohms that are so different i dont want to take the chance of buying the wrong one and frying something important. any help is always appreciated. and i would like to finish the gauge install soon. thanks guys and gals.

Can't give you an answer to your question but you could try calling the service division of a Jeep dealership, they might be able to help you.
