Is this much AC condensation normal?

Just did some AC work, and it's blowing cold again. I was surprised how much condensation was coming out of the weep hole though. This is on a ~90F day, and since I'm at the beach, we like to keep the humidity at a minimum of 80%.

On a side note - why did they make the water drain directly onto the frame?

I've seen some big puddles from cars idling with the AC on so I suspect it's normal. It may have done it prior to needing AC work but since it hadn't garnered your attention you didn't notice.

Varies with humidity. You will get more in Orlando than in Phoenix. Does not look too unusual.

Actually that drain plugging is usually an issue with water on the floor inside. Keep it clean and let it flow.
