Going to buy the body from Shell valley , Has anybody bought the entire body kit?

A Jeep Fiberglass Complete Kit consists of a sandable body tub and either a hood and two fenders, or a one-piece front end (grill not included).

Does it Drive OK with the Fiberglass hood or should i use my metal hood and front end?

or should i just get everything fiberglass?

I had a shop owner tell me years ago when I was looking at fiberglass bodies, that they were roughly #500LBS lighter than a steel bodied jeep. That being said, I would use as much steel parts as I could, (think cross winds around 50mph). Just my opinion, no experience.

Thank you for all the info - Your jeep looks great - I am going to do that keep the windshield and the front grill- Thx Do you know the manufacture of your fiberglass body? Any other info is greatly appreciated- I am using the original grill and the windshield anything else i should know about the fiberglass - Which body mounts did you use?
