Slow cranking

Okay I have a 95 Grand Cherokee Larado 4.0 It has been cranking slow but will start but when it starts the security system goes off. I have to lock and unlock my drivers door to shut alarm off. Once started alt is charging as i just replaced alt last year and battery.Any clues whats causing this slow crank and alarm going off??

Probably need a new starter. Good chance there is forest fairys liveing in your door screwing up your alarm, cure unknown.

Check and clean battery connections and the opposite sides of the grounds at the engine and body.
Have your battery load tested to be sure there is enough cca. Cold cranking amps. To turn the engine.

If you have two cars you could try swapping the batteries to see if it's a bad battery.
I'm with JPNinPA - it sounds like the battery isn't charged enough, either from a bad ground / connection, bad battery, or bad alternator.
